New Roofs & Re-Roofing you can rely on

A new roof is one of the biggest investments you'll make in your home, so we take time to explain the options, from tiles and slate to dry-fix or traditional mortar finishes. You'll get a clear written quote that covers everything, including anything we might find once the old roof is off.

Our team is qualified, tidy and easy to deal with. We send photo updates as the job progresses, keep the site safe and clean, and take all old materials away when we finish.

Do I need permission for a new roof?

Re-roofing with similar materials usually doesn't need planning permission. If your home is listed or in a conservation area, or you want to change the look of the roof significantly, you may need consent from your local council. We'll flag this at the quote stage.

Building Regulations generally apply when more than 25% of a roof is re-covered, which can include improving insulation. We'll advise on what's needed for your roof so it's done properly and documented.

FAQs

New Roofs & Re-Roofing: your questions answered

Can't find your answer? Call or WhatsApp us and we'll be happy to help.

How long does a new roof take?

Most re-roofs on a typical house take a few days to around a week, depending on size, complexity, access and weather. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your quote and keep you updated throughout.

How much does a new roof cost?

It depends on the size and shape of the roof, the materials you choose, access and scaffolding. After a free survey we'll give you a clear written quote. Customers often tell us it compares very well with other quotes they've had.

Do I need to move out while my roof is replaced?

No. Re-roofing is done from the outside and we keep the roof protected while work is in progress, so you can stay at home as normal.

Is a new roof guaranteed?

Yes. New roofs carry our replacement guarantee, and the work is documented with photos at each stage.

Which roof tiles should I choose?

It depends on your home, budget and any planning considerations. Concrete interlocking tiles are cost-effective and quick to lay; clay and plain tiles suit many older homes; natural slate is long-lasting and traditional. We'll talk you through the options.
